This metal housing 3.1 mega-pixel digital camera with c-mount fitting includes a 50mm(2 inch) diagonal LCD display so you can use the camera with the DC power supply without your PC connected. The camera includes a slot for SD and a 2 GB SD card to get you started. Capture images without PC connection and download later via USB2 (cable included). Each DC3PC-TV also includes a wireless remote control and a wired cable release to avoid vibration when capturing an image. Includes camera driver and even a NTSC cable for sending real time images to a regular TV with RCA-IN connection. Once connected to your PC, the LCD screen on the camera cuts off and you now view from your PC monitor and the camera receives power from the PC via the USB2 cable. MicroCap2.0 software included for calibration and linear dimension measurements plus circumference and radius measurements on circular objects. Software is compatible with Windows 98, ME, 2000, XP, and 7(No Vista yet). Connect directly to a digital projector, TV or photo printer (PictBridge). This versatile camera may be used with a variety of microscopes without a trinocular port tube by simply removing one of the ocular eyepieces from the binocular head unit and sliding in a customized C-mount fitting into the ocular port hole of binocular compound microscopes as pictured.

For best corrected field of view using this camera with trinocular microscopes, a 0.5x C-mount adapter sold seperately is recommended
